THE LEADING AMILY DAILY IN NEW ENGLAND
Boston Ebening Transcript
ESTABLISHED 1830
324 WASHINGTON STREET
ADVERTISING
BOSTON, MASS.
DEPARTMENT
Boston, Mar. 27th, 1908.
Dear Sir:-
Referring to your letter of January 30th in reference to advertis-
ing Bar Harbor as a Summer Resort, we suppose you wish to attract the best
class of people to the houses and cottages that are to rent for the season
as well as to the hotels.
Next week Saturday's edition of the Boston Evening Transcript will
be an exceptionally good one in which to begin an advertisement of a house,
farm, cottage, camp or bungalow to rent for the season for in addition to the
large regular Saturday circulation a copy of the April 4 issue will be sent
to all families on our list who had summer places last season, also to more
than 3500 real estate agents in New England besides many others in New York
and New Jersey. Remember this is in addition to the regular circulation
but
no extra charge will be made for this excess of over 15,000 making a
total of more than 60,000 copies.
This is an unusually good opportunity to call the attention of in-
ersons to I r Harbor property and we hope you will take advantage
You know that for many years the Transcript has printed each season
tisements of places to rent for the summer than any other newspaper
in
So far this season there has been a good increase in the size
of t
tment showing that owners an agents realize that many people
look
r houses earlier in the spring than heretoforei
hould be sent in at once to insure proper display and
classificatud
We trust you will see the advantages of having an nouncement
in
this big issue and assure you it will reach a very lamen
of lessees
of the most desirable class.
Very truly
