ESTABLISHED 1830
324 WASHINGTON STREET
ADVERTISING
BOSTON MASS.
DEPARTMENT
Boston, February 6th, 1908.
Dear Sir:-
Replying to your inquiry regarding rates for Resort advertis-
ing, would say that a one inch (14 agate lines) advertisement inserted
daily for two months (52 insertions) would cost $72.80. Two inches
space the same length of time would cost $145.60. In this mail, under
a separate cover, we are sending you a copy of the Transcript of June
15th, 1907.
On pages 6-7-8-9-10-11-12-13 of the second section you
will find quite an amount of Resort advertising.
If we knew about how much money you intended to spend in the
Transcript, we might be able to suggest a plan whereby you might secure
larger spaces in some of our Resort Issues and use smaller spaces on
other days during the week; and if you will write us in regard to this
matte. we will be glad to do whatever we can to make the advertising
profita le.
We shall have seven or eight Resort Issues which will be
of gre at benefit to Resort advertisers. In addition to the regular
circulate n we shall place the Resort advertisements before a large
number of
Letter class of people in such 'cities as Providence, New.
York, Ph
phia, Baltimore, Washington, Chicago, etc., which we will
write you about later when our plans for this extra circulation are per-
fected.
If you will send us a copy of your advertisement we should
be glad to set it in type and submit proofs without expense to you.
In closing
