Copies of seven letters which were themselves copied by Joseph Avery into his book of letters. Handwritten in pencil. "Joseph Avery was a younger brother of Katharine (Avery ) Fisher. He kept a book of copies of letters which he received and from this book the following seven letters were taken. At this time he was a student at Harvard College."
