Glass plate negative taken at Mount Desert Rock, August 1907. View looks up toward the light station, with the boathouse and davit visible to the left, work buildings in the center, and the double house and tower to the right. In the foreground the rocks are covered with seaweed and a man, identified as Will [Dodge] on the negative envelope stands just beyond it. Negative envelope reads: Mt. Desert Rk. Lt. Sta. Aug. 1907 No. 6.a Not Complete. Looking S.E. Will 50 sec.
