Glass Plate Negative, Mount Desert Rock

Glass negative taken at Mount Desert Rock, circa 1908. Image looks across broken granite ledges toward an open ocean. At the far left a building is visible, and wooden racks (perhaps for drying fish) sit on the ledges. The negative envelope for this image seems to have been reused, and the writing does not seem to refer to this image. It reads: Mt. Desert Lt. July 27, 1908 Gladys Simmons Devel. Di. S. Plate
