Used to lead from nurseries on Route 3 through area now occupied by Jackson Lab to Little Meadow Hill, then passed through wat is now Bear Brook Picnic Area. The section between the picnic area and Beachcroft Path (#13) is lightly used and easy to follow. Then it joined what is now Beachcroft Path (#13) and continued to Sieur de Monts via the Tarn. (DG) Path below Champlain Mountain can be followed along Beaver Dam Pool through wooded area. Path is less defined near Bear Brook picnic area. Across the road from the picnic area, the route is easy to follow along a fine strip of raised tread with low retaining walls on both sides. The path then cuts up and over modest granite ledge in wooded area then descends toward Sieur de Monts to meet Beachcroft Path (#13).
