Triad Path, west Acadia National Park, Hancock County, ME
Extant from Wildwood Stables area north and west to the carriage road, but not beyond, to our knowledge. Possibly continues as west end of Hunters Brook #35. Probably used by horse campers occasionally and perhaps, on horseback. All wooded, some cairns, otherwise poorly defined on the steep slope to the carriage road. Lower part is 4-6 feet wide, flat, and obvious trail. There was (c.2001) an old VIA style intersection post at a trail junction, where a road/trail continues west toward Wild Wood Stables gravel access road, passing a beaver pond. From 1893. CJ, GS, KJ
