Eleven and one-half pound salmon caught in Patten Pond

"The biggest fish brought into Ellsworth so far this season was caught by J.P. Eldridge and W.H. Titus, who were at camp Aiken, Patten's pond. The fish weighed eleven and one-half pounds, and is beyond question the largest fish ever taken at this pond."  Ellsworth American, Wed. Apr. 29, 1908
