Frame Saw

2006.003.006: Frame Saw: Early American carpenters relied on their frame saws at least as much as the open saws used by modern carpenters. The thin blade of this saw would have allowed the user to cut around curves, and was perhaps used to make some of the furniture seen in the museum.
