CADILLAC MOUNTAIN ROAD
Acadia National Park
Mount Desert, Maine
Cadillac is the highest mountain in Acadia National Park. A beautiful
scenic drive winds three and a half miles to its summit. From here one may
look east to Schoodic Point over the many islands in Frenchman's Bay, West
to the Camden Hills over Eagle Lake and Bluehill Bay, and, on a clear day,
North to Mt. Katahdin. Another drive leads around its slope past Bubble
Pond to Jordan Pond and the twin mountains knows as the Bubbles.
