Shown on the 1896 path map. Two routes described in the 1915 Path Guide "(a) Up Seaside Path to trail on west (with sign) crossing Barr Hill Road to top. (b) by shore road west to private road opposite Congregational Church, (marked The Eyrie) and by trail at entrance to Barr Hill Road. Wide sea views to south; fine mountain views to north from "lookout" ledge at end of short side path. On west at base of cliffs are some "caves." (p 19)
